OUR STORY
Our founder Jessie grew up in an underprivileged area of Costa Rica yet felt lucky to have been introduced to skateboarding when he was 14. He started to compete and travel around Costa Rica at 16 years old. He saw how much skateboarding changed his life yet was aware that this opportunity wasn't available to a lot of people in Costa Rica. This inspired him to create STCR Skateschool with his friend Bruno. 6 Years later, together they have taught over 200 people to skate, most of whom are still ripping to this day!
STCR Skateschool prioritise giving back to the community, by taking care of the local skate park and sponsoring local kids, encouraging them to keep learning and competing.
